That was inexplicable. Absolutely inexplicable.Originally posted by akjs123 View PostThere are a lot of decisions that can be attributed to inept refereeing but what was the 6 mins injury time in 2005.
I haven't seen the game in full since but I KNOW for a fact there were not six minutes worth of stoppages. More like three.
I thought that absolutely stank yet little or nothing was said about it.
We can take it out of UEFA/bent ref/Abramovich's hands by blitzing the *******s, but I know exactly where Syd is coming from here. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Hmm...they did not get past the semi 2 times earlier...but the final was not in Moscow, like eyou say.
But....if they get to the final they also have to beat Barca or the Mancs, and I don't think the Chavs have got it in them to beat them as well as us.
Several dodgy decisions to get them to win?
I suppose not.--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--

Funnily enough it's one of two phrases I remember from a term of studying Russian.

: Your translation is that you prefer a floor with a dog in the field...
what you meant to say was.. ''это был определенно пенальти''....

I dont buy the argument that we have been lucky against the Chavs at all.
1st time round even if that ball wasnt over the line, it was a pen plus sending off.
2nd time round in ET we had Dirky's goal disallowed for a false offside.
Anyways, I do think we might get ****ed up fixing-wise aye. There was that 6 minute thing & I was convinced they were gonna stop a Scum Liverpool final last year at all cost. This time round, theyll know if Scum are in the final before our 2nd leg too....3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Brilliant. Neil, I'd love to know the other expression you remember.Originally posted by MosRay View Postneil you prefer dogs..Guff,guff.....

I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

i also think the scum will be victims of the same conspiracy two english teams in the final UEFA nightmare especially with platini slagging the prem recently, i hope one of the theories comes true though.Originally posted by DJS View PostThis nagging concern has been irking me for a bit now and i really hope i'm wrong, but in the light of the recent Champions League draw 'fix' scenario, nothing would surprise me where UEFA are concerned...
The link between the venue for the final and our semi final opponents is not lost on any of us. And when you're a billionaire, things are easily sorted.
So here we have it, i'm sticking my neck out and predicting that we will be eliminated by Chelsea and there'll be a dodgy decision somewhere along the way that'll seal our fate.
Call me a conspiracy theorist if you want, but it's at the point now where i EXPECT the above to happen. The final is in his home city and Abramovich would love nothing more than to take his club there to collect the trophy. It'd be the ultimate pinnacle for him and i'm sure he'd do whatever it takes to achieve it. Conveniently for him, UEFA dont strike me as being objectionable to the idea of helping a billionaire, when there might be the small matter of a 'donation' coming their way...
So there you go, that's my prediction.
I hope someone bumps this on the morning of May 1st and is laughing at how wrong i was. Fingers crossed...
Anyone know the Russian for "yep, definite penalty that..." ?

remember the theories before last season, when tevez and masch signed for west ham, saying that it was only for them to get used to the premiership and then go to chelsea, and look where they ended up...i believe this is close to that theory - ludicrous!

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
