    KEEGAN.Puts LFC in same bracket as ??

    Just heard this on my way out, Keegan on the Radio talking about Owen, & if he's staying at Newcastle, Keegan say's..." I dont consider any of the clubs that Owen could go to as being a step up, i don't see 'Man City' (man city ffs) or Liverpool as being Bigger than Newcastle". ffs is he for real.

      Any Geordie would say the same mate, they genuinely believe that they are among the biggest clubs in the world.

          They are reading the table wrong. The number 12 denotes they are the 12th best team in england, not 1-2 as the range they will finish in...

              He's simply saying what he thinks about the club he coaches. No problem with that and doesn't make him deluded for it.

                  Can't believe how much reaction these sort of comments always get. Clearly he is preaching to the converted in Newcastle and that sort of attitude is what differentiates him from previous managers they have had. He does understand the mentality that surrounds the club, whatever his other short comings as a manager he is generally a great people person.

                  I think their image as an exceptionally well supported team and willingness to splash on big wages will see them punch above their weight in the transfer market in the summer. I wouldn't expect a vast leap in the league next year but I can see them being one of the more entertaining sides next year.
