The stick that the lad has took from his own during one of the darkest moments of his career is in my opinion beyond the pale.

He may not be the perfect player, but in my view the lad tries, and I think it's unfair what is being said about him. If a player does his best, why rip into him in the sort of malevolent way many currently are.

For my money, he's been a decent servant to LFC. He screwed up over a split second decision. Big deal. Get over it and support the lad.

I got paid £75 for 6hrs doing a skilled and dangerous job, he got £6000 today (or 80 times what I earnt) for attending training. I don't think he deserves a break, he deserves a kick up the arse.
