Makes it a little harder but also demands Rafa goes to the Bridge with a plan to score for the 1st time.

We will win, probably need pens.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Riise will be desperate to put it all right on Wednesday. I will be sticking a side bet on him being first/last goalscorer and his goal celebration to be a diving header at the Chav end.

Would be fairy-tale stuff. Unsurprisingly, given my usually optimistic nature, i cant see it.

For my money, he's been a decent servant to LFC. He screwed up over a split second decision. Big deal. Get over it and support the lad.
The phrase 'servant' has been abused a lot in the last few days. He's not a servant to the club, he's a well paid employee.

At the end of the day, he must be aware that he's crap with his right foot and should be working on it daily. I'm guessing but he probably doesn't and it's insecurity that lead him to stoop and head the ball. Today, I was 5m off the pavement up a ladder in a hail storm in London. I got paid £75 for 6hrs doing a skilled and dangerous job, he got £6000 today (or 80 times what I earnt) for attending training. I don't think he deserves a break, he deserves a kick up the arse.

Surely he deserves empathy though, regardless of his short comings, he's tearing himself up inside.

defence and JAR does not belong in the same sentence

however, we need to let this lie and focus all our energy into the task at hand...getting past the cheating chavs on wednesday

                  so.....onwards!

                    Well said

And for those hoping that Riise scores Wednesday, well he will try everytime he gets in there half like he always does.
He might even sprint for the first time in years now that he is under pressure too.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful

he may have got £6000 today but i don't think that means that we should treat our players like **** every time they make an error, even a costly one.

The same guy who is getting so much grief scored a wonder goal against the Scum and away in Barcelona when we we needed it......

Football is a cruel game at times, and as club that prides itself on its memories and history we should be kinder to those who have brought us great joy,...........the guy made a mistake on the night so what, I've had years of enjoyment from his goal agains the scum

Doesn't Carra have more own goals that goals for us?

Didn't Hyypia get 2 own goals this season?

The outpourings against JAR (cock stash) are way out of line. His goals against Manure & Barca are worth at least 2 own goals, so he's in credit.
