he may have got £6000 today but i don't think that means that we should treat our players like **** every time they make an error, even a costly one.

I haven't fella. If I met him I'd be starstruck etc but he has serious shortcomings as a player and HE needs to address them. It's HIS seemingly lack of confidence about just how poor his right leg is that has lead to this.

Surely he deserves empathy though, regardless of his short comings, he's tearing himself up inside.

Of course he does, and he's receiving it from those that matter. I'm an internet chat room user who's mightily disappointed with him. I've got no intention of slagging him off. He's got a good shot and scored a few goals but the weaknesses are showing him up a bit now. Personally, I think he's got the ability to have ironed out those weaknesses over the years but he's lack the nouse.

Or perhaps that he has less than a second to make a decision on how to handle a difficult ball...

Even if he hit it with his rigth foot it might have gone in...

He made a mistake, every player does at times... But for that he does not deserve what some people call him, write on walls etc. He has brought a lot of good memories and trophies to LFC, and I for one am gratefull for that!

Furthermore, when you're a millionaire, there reaches the point where the money stops meaning anything. They're not out there for the money and the money means feck all in the bigger scheme of things.
