If we'd won a european superleague with all the top sides playing each other, then fair enough, but winning the CL doesnt automatically make you the best side in europe, just the same as winning the league cup doesnt make you the best side in the league.

The fact is, at this moment in time, if you ask Barca or Real to name the 4 teams they wouldn't want to play in Europe it would be the top 4 in the Premiership.

Not just for the physical nature of our game but also because of the potency all 4 teams have in attack. Maybe not the most attractive but dangerous as hell.

We're being seriously regarded as European giants again and personally that puts a smile on my face.


Edit: I feel I've slightly disregarded the Italian teams but they are in a mess at the moment so we'll leave them out of it for now.
