Voronin, I'm horrified to say will most probably be sniffing about the first 11 next season.
I can't see Rafa dropping Torres or Gerrard for him, can you? Then there's Babel and Kuyt plus whoever he brings in.

sorry mate but i want you sold as well, you've been a let down too. kuyt, pennant, voronin, riise, finnan, carson aren't good enough - some weren't ever good enough

unfortunately i can see crouch and xabi leaving also

      easy 30-40 million there.

replace with fullback, winger and second striker. no more squad ****, we have plenty of kids that can fill in there.

if we sign the likes of barry, bently, valencia i'll cry

I agree with what you say but I would say pennant is a decent squad player and i bet we get closer to the fee we paid for him then we do with Kuyt

Riise. When he officially leaves I will throw a big party.

I really hope Voronin and Kewell are gone. I can also see Finnan and Riise going too as neither have been regulars this year, same goes for Crouch although I'd like us to keep him. I can see Pennant staying as a back up winger. I think Benayoun could go too if a decent offer comes in. Carson will be sold too, and the rumours about Alonso leaving don't seem to go away so he could be another.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

pennant only turns up against nobody teams, its as if he doesn't have enough belief in his abilities. i've seen everything that pennant can do and its not good enough, i'd rather have a kid with potential from the reserves or brought back from loan as a squad player

the only reason we'd not lose much on pennant is because he has longer on his contract.

Kewell? We are still paying LeTallec.

i really really really dont know what finnan has done to deserve to be below riise in the pecking order.... as soon as i saw the team last night, i was gutted.... if rafa wanted to play riise to give him a chance to redeem himself, then he shoulf have played him left midfield instead of benny..... arbeloa shouldhave played left back and finnan should have started right back......

i could see finnan going to villa, newcastle, everton or west ham and becoming one of the best right backs around once again....(despite his age)

as for players to come in, then i would suggest micah richards.... he will have the opportunity to try and ge tout of man city cos they are bombing out sven....

Possibly, but if he turns up against **** teams he should make a good squad player.

yes but i'd rather one of our kids be given that opportunity. how else will they ever have the chance of coming through?

To be fair he was our best player in the CL final and scored a cracking goal against Chelsea last year.

I don't think Pennant is good enough for our squad, but he is one of many I'm afraid to say. We need to get rid of a lot of players.

But I do not want this to happen. Why? Because the more players we get rid of, the more we need to bring in. And that means spreading the money. I'd rather just get rid of a few and bring in a few big money signings.

Having said that, if we can get some free transfers in then this would allow us to get rid of more dross.

When is the last time he has really sprinted for us? He is a jogger.
Sooner he goes the better. Cost us a final spot.

To expensive for a position we do not need to improve (CB).

And I don't think he would be worth £15m as a RB.

Riise has done well for us in the past. Not good enough anymore though.

Still, he's had some great games and great goals to remember him by. Everyone always remembers the one against Man Utd. But I remember the one he scored at Highbury. Great pass by Stevie with the outside of the boot and a great run and finish by Riise. The fact he doesn't seem capable of these runs anymore is the very reason we should get rid of him now.
