I believe it is time for a new manager!

With the money Rafa has spent and the way he has performed in the League, in my eyes he has to go. We are no closer to winning the league now at all, if anything the distance is greater than under Houllier.

We need a manager who will not set us out to not lose a game, we should be looking to win and attack every opponent no matter who they are! We are Liverpool ffs!!!

I long for attacking exciting football like we had with Barnes, Beardsley and co.

The man who I would like to take us forward is Gus Hiddink.

11 adrift until yesterday, a few less draws and different results against Utd and we'd be right up there. Rafa sets us up to not lose, and also to win. Our brand of football has seen us beat Juve, Chelsea x2, Arsenal and Inter in the CL. We've now got the measure of Chelsea and Arsenal in the league, only Man Utd are next. How can you not see we're going forward in the league? We've done well considering the off-field antics this season and out of form players. Get a grip mate

What about the state of the squad when he took over, if O'Neil took over then we could be mid table by now... good chance I say

I agree but the game has changed you can't win the league the Keegan way (score more goals than your opponent) you have to start at the back and build from there for consistent success, look at Barca...

          No argument there mate

Oh, and we have the 3rd best defensive record in the league (without Agger) and we have scored more goals than Chelsea. We are top scorers in the CL, have only lost 4 games in the league. We also have the 3rd best scoring record in the league if you discount Villa and Spurs, who, for their goalscoring efforts, have let in 21 and 31 more goals than us respectively.

Utd and Arsenal play attacking football. Utd won it last year, almost again this year Arsenal nearly did this season, might have if they had spent a bit on their squad.

Our squad was not that bad when he took over. 4th again is ****ing wank!

The margins are so small these days and only getting smaller.

And how long do we give Hiddink?

                    And the manager after him?

                    And the one after that?

Liverpool FC has improved on every level, from the youth to the reserves to the first team since Rafa arrived. To even consider getting rid of him now is ridiculous.

So I would say benitez is doing well compared to our former managers, and not least compared to managers of the other big clubs of "this era"... Only Mourinho has outdone him sign. and he could bye a team of choice when he took over, unlike Rafa...

Top scorers in the champions league was because we had the easier group and we nearly ****ed that up! How many ****ty draws do we have in the league??

We should have the best defensive record in the league with the way we play!!

Not having a go but come on lad. Biscan, Douif, Diao, Djimi (champions league winner), Cisse, Murphy, Bruno, Tony T, Dudek, Mellor, etc.

Torres, Babel, Agger, Skrtel, Pepe, Xabi, Mascher, and we certinaly were not talking about anything coming through our youth system like we are now.

Now try and argue that we are not hugely improved. Just think where we would be now when you see the improvements utd, cfc, and the arse have made. We would be competing with efc, avfc and pompey.
