Basically the tale goes that Crouch was a big fan of the Nachos at some take away place. he went in one night and ordered some. When they arrived he said 'You do realise I'm not going to pay'. The guy behind the counter couldn't care less and lets him get on with it. Peter starts saying 'Peter's got his Nachos' over and over while munching away.

Erm...he didn't. And, whenever he did get a chance he mostly played well and scored! One cannot fault him with being dissatisfied by the amount of games he has played and wanting to move on! What kind of a professional would he be if he just accepted that he was more or less fourth choice?

He owes Rafa nothing. Not an amazing player but one who has suffered for this new formation. Not his fault. I can't fault him on anything but his choice of girlfriend!

15m is obviously the starting point for negotiations. Would you rather Rafa started at 1m?

Either way, I think Rafa holds the trump card here and Crouch will go and on Rafa's terms.

Cant see Ablett wanting him in the reserves as it seems to be a "up and coming team" so he may rott on the bench for 12mths if he thinks that will do his career any good......IMO he is not good enough for liverpool anyway 'cos even I know he just tries to get his head to the ball rather than actually trying to find someone when we play it long and when he tries to hold it up we all know his first touch is coming back towards our goal and defensive/holding midfielders just wait and opick him off , ala Essien.

£15m is completely unrealistic and is probably putting off bidders as far as Crouch is concerned. You're only here once and its obvious to Crouch that he's not going to be playing much at all this season.

How do you know that the £15m is a start point for negotiations? Rafa may be telling interested parties that its £15m or its not happening.
