Crouch to leave for free?

I've always thought the £15m fee quoted was more Rafa's response to MON's valuation of Gareth Barry; basically if you want Crouch it will cost as much as you are asking for Barry.
Rafa never makes statements just for the sake of it."The definition of insanity is not running into the same wall again and again; it's expecting a different result every time you do it."

hasnt anyone noticed what raffa has done,he is doing what any other manager in england has done with english players for the past few years, and now with this fifa thing hanging over our heads then the values will go up,crouch is a england international and correct me if iam wrong but 12 goals in 12 starts last season is worth atleast 10 mill in my book so like others have said a start price of 15 mill isnt stupid its just business....
look around the league, how much will pompey end up paying for defoe close to 10 mill after add-ons,downing priced at 12mill has never played in europe and only featured for england a handfull of times, barry 16 mill, bently 16 mill blackburn want for him and people are questioning the 15 ill valuation of crouch,he has scored has played in europe has played for england and scored goals in all competitions,i wouldnt pay 15 mill for crouch but the valuation is right....

What's the problem with Rafa playing hardball over transfer fees in May?
If it was two days before the window closes then he'd be running out of time but at the moment he's simply trying to get the most money in for LFC. We've bashed the club in recent years for not doing this so we have to be patient with this one."My commitment to Liverpool is 100 per cent. I would die for that Liverpool shirt. I think the club loves me and I feel the same, no matter what the situation." - Pepe Reina, Nov '09.

Always going public with his troubles?!??! WTF?Originally posted by tommyg View PostSometimes i dont know whether to feel sorry for Crouchie or to dislike him for always going public with his troubles.
Why is it there are so many ‘supporters’ happy to take the Daily ****ing Star’s word for it? "Going public with his troubles" – where are the quotes from Crouch? In public Crouch always says the right things and didn’t rock the boat at all while being left out. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

bollocks. bollocks and more bollocks.Originally posted by Abbey Road View PostCrouch has turned into a dickhead. He's lucky to have played for such a great club and owes Rafa everythnig.
If he'd concentrated less on his public persona and cult figure status and more on his football, then he might have been more involved.
He's frustrated at not playing and rafa has admitted he's fighting Torres for the one attacking position (oh joy I love this new system that the entire world seems to have adopted at present). He won't play anywhere near enough games next season unless torres were to get injured. even then one of the other two prolific hitmen on our books would no doubt get the nod.
No one is going to pay £15M. So he stays and gives his all for us when called upon and leaves for free at the end of his contract. we've had £7M value out him surely? I can't stand this attitude that every liverpool player must obey, honour and revel in the brilliance personified that is Rafa Bentitez. The guy does **** up on occassions.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

I really couldn't give a ****. At this moment in time he's a Liverpool player and does as he's told. He can openly slag us off for stopping his dream move to Pompey and restricting his Ingurland opportunities in his next book.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View Postbollocks. bollocks and more bollocks.

i hve to agree with this kinda ive not heard crouch moan or demand a move in the press and every time ive read a story or seen a interview he has been nothing but a true professional, yes he will get frustrated but this season he has kept his mouth shut and did his job and if he has said it now who can blame him its the end of the season...Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostAlways going public with his troubles?!??! and as for the daily ****ing star i cant speak for all but when it comes to newspapers i wont buy the Sc*m or the Sc*m owned mirror, the times and them are just to complicated for my stoned head so that leaves the daily star(plus the boobies on page 3) who i have to say over the years have been right about more things liverpool than any other tabloid(apart from the echo)...
