Just maybe Rafa and his scouts know what kind of qualities they need for certain matches and Degen fitted these and for nothing. Surely Rafa and his scouts have seen enough of him to know he can do a job?

I have seen Degan play live, many many times and although he has only played 45 mimutes people are entitled to say as they wish.

It is and it's a good one but it won't be if everytime a new sigining makes a shakey start we have threads deriding him after 45mins of pre season action.

The original poster is right this thread is premature. We haven't seen enough of him in red to know ANYTHING about the guy so noone is in a position to make an informed opinion on what he can offer us.

People are entitled to say as they wish, but if they're judging a player after 45 minutes of pre season, they can't expect to be taken very seriously.
