If he turns out to be a useful squad player then we've done alright, if he turns out to be first choice or offers an attacking option then even better, and if he turns out to be ****e then he'll contribute a couple of million to next year's transfer kitty.

    It's a no-lose situation.
    Not if he costs us a couple of games.

                        What a ****ing ridiculous thread... its pre season fitness knock abouts, hes a new player in a team full of unfit players, a mixture of reserves, youth players and first teams, hes returning from injury and anybody with half a football brain will tell you in Pre Season the defenders always look the worst..

                        For ****s sake this takes being a stupid cunt to whole new levels of greatness .. the player just signed for us and already the fecking numptie brigade are getting stuck in...

                            Finnan was ****e for us the whole of the 1st season, he turned in to one of the best right backs in the league. But lets write this guy off after a couple of pre-season games
