We may not have won 3 or 4 nil or played expansive attacking football (although I didn't think we played too badly) We were also missing Gerrard, Masher, Lucas and Babel. Get over it and start supporting the team if in fact you are a Liverpool supporter.

also, perhaps we didn't click BUT it is the sign of a great (and championship winning) team that can win without playing well.... granted in some matches we haven't hit the 6th gear...however, in pre-season we have played over 20 players in each match..... it is about fitness and trying players first and foremost as opposed to actual results....yet we were still unbeaten in 8 games..... i actually think it has turned out to be a great preseason..... plus facts are Dossena and Cavalieri have managed to get used to playing with teammates...as has Keane... Plessis, Insua, Darby, Ngog, Pacheco and Speering have all got used to playing with the first team and we can now be a bit more confident if they have to be thrown into the first team in a big / league match.....

IMO it was about buying new attacking fullbacks - which we have. each fan has his or hers own opinions on what players should be bought or what type of football should be played. i have seen this pre-season and last season that rafa can have us challenging league. we scored more goals last year than most other teams and that was with crouch, kyut and voronin - players who are lets be honest ****e. ( by which i really mean not good enough for any of the other top 4 squads ) with this ngog lad looking decent and robbie keane ( proven EPL goal scorer ) on board we will score even more goals this year. 11 points behind was great for our squad last year. we ARE a better squad this year and we WILL be challenging for the title. For christ sakes, we have masher, babel and lucas still to come back from olympics. once our full squad is back and rafa is able to play the 4-2-3-1 formation he likes all the ****ing depressing cunts on here who love nothing better than to put the squad down and look on the ****e side of life will be eating humble pie....mark my words.

also, we lost only 4 league games last season.....people are quick to forget that....
