There's no need to overreact to this one - 0-0 will do us. We'll have Mascher, Gerrard and Babel back for the second leg at Anfield, and we'll have the benefit of another couple of competitive games. This game should stand us in good stead for Sunderland on Saturday too, another hard working physcial side, and I'd rather draw this one 0-0 than that one.
We've just been off the pace tonight and lost the midfield battle with Mascher and Gerrard out (and even Lucas to a lesser extent, as he is more experienced than Plessis). That won't happen again in the return leg.

Good sensible post.
I can't see us having too many problems going through at Anfield.
I feel that we may have seen the best Liege have to offer tonight.
The sharpness was not there tonight, however we now have two Premier League games to get that sharpness which we will and we will spank these at our place
