Whether you like the thought of it or not Carsberg don't give a dam about us. They sponsor us because we promote their product, all they care about is their product and their sales. They don't sponsor us for our benefit, they do it for their own. Whoever sponsors us will probably do something we don't like but the fact is there is nothing we can do about it

tbh the sooner we get rid of them and get a non alcohol based sponsor the better. If we are to make a real drive into the middle eastern/asian markets we have to be a lot more savvier as alcohol advertising is a no go there

I sent them an email about this and this was the reply i got.

sensitive to the fact that some Liverpool fans feel very strongly about
The Sun newspaper, and is very proud of its long association with and
support of Liverpool Football Club over the past 16 years, and did not
intend to cause any offence with the upcoming free pint promotion.
