True, so Rick Parry should of fronted the media when they decided to paste our withdrawel on our Offal. Instead they know Rafa will have to a press conference soon, he can answer the questions for them even though he has no idea about the what, why and where for of the decision.

So he didn't go to the funeral because they wouldn't wait for him. Which is fine, as I said it's individual choice anyway. It doesn't make asking Xabi to risk missing his child's birth any more justified.

exactly fredo - but we shouldn't judge how individuals choose to celebrate a family member's birthday. some people go to the party and give a present and some celebrate by playing footie with their mates as far away as they possibly can

How a person deals with the loss of a parent is a completely personal matter, there are no rights and wrongs and no rule book and if you think any less of Rafa because he decided to stick with his team whilst on the other side of the planet, then it is you who are the sad individual

If the rumours are true in anyway, I would not expect someone to run the rule on whether I attend the birth of my 1st Son or daughter, regradless of how much I'm getting paid. Those that say different with regrads to how much he is getting paid and what xabi should do, value money more than life IMO.

Family. If he didn't have a close relationship with his father fair enough, he could have still been there for the rest of his family (His mother) who many have needed him close by.
