Would have been nice for Cole to finish one of his chances, still I expected Chelsea to win comfortably today. Bring on Arsenal now, we could really do with a win!

I feel like there's an echo here, but 'if we win next week' there'll be a real chance to kick on. Chelsea go to Everton on Monday night and whilst the bitters are ****e and have no strikers, their home form has to improve at some point and they're capable of making it hard for chelsea.

Furthermore, we need to start taking advantage of playing before chelsea do, it can make a difference. If we can win it puts huge pressure on them to do the business, just to keep in touch.

Still a long long long long way to go and people are getting their knickers in a twist. We're in a position envied by our rivals. They have to worry when we will catch up with positive home results.

Would you like to be 9 points clear right now, given the opportunity?

Well in our very poor recent form we have managed to increase our lead at the top of the league. We were level at the start of this run of form, we have somehow ended up 1 point clear.

Of course we would but so would Chelsea and the fact is, that when everyone wakes up tommorow morning
Liverpool FC will be top of the Premiership.

There was no booing at Anfield yesterday that I heard? Lots of people leaving 5 mins before the end and they did not even throw the ball back quickly so we could get on with the game

We've had some seriously easy opportunities to have achieved it.

So have Arsenal and they lost to them.
Chelsea's home form is worse than ours.
United's away form is worse than ours.

When have Arsenal had the opportunity to be 9 points clear?

Chelsea have played Arsenal, United and us at home. As well as a good Spurs side.

Our only 'hard' home game has been Man Utd.

Well if they had not lost to Hull, Stoke, Man City and Fulham and hadn't thrown away a two goal lead against Tottenham they would be top.

Chelsea have failed to take their chances and we beat them.

We are ****ing top because we have been better than them.

I'd rather taste the enjoyment of being top after 38 games.
