Arsenal is their second to last game, Hull away is the last. Both potential banana skins, but both come at the wrong time and could be meaningless by the time they come along.

The fact is, if they win their next 5, it's basically over.

    Pompey h
    Spurs h
    Boro a
    City h
    Wigan a

    We're praying for a miracle.
I'd put money on them not winning the next 5 in a row. Spurs, Boro, City & Wigan are all potential bannana skins.

Who knows, even Crouchy may do us a favour tonight!

      I don't think they'll win 4 of those.

That leaves Wigan, Arsenal and Hull. Not easy. You'd rather be in their position, but form wise we are streets ahead, with a break in between each match.

We know from experience how hard it is playing in the daily grind of the premier league after a titanic game in Europe. After the two Arsenal ties they play Boro away and City at home.

For any other team top team City at home is a formality, But it is a local derby, meaning anything can happen. The players will know that if they play a part in derailing Uniteds title challenge they'd be forgiven for a season of ****e away displays, multi million pound players or not.

If Everton had lost every game this season, I would still be ****ting it over having to get a result against them. I'm sure you would. Logic need not apply in some football games. FA cup 3rd round and derby games and i tell ya, anything goes.
Not so sure about dropping 3 points in the next 4, that'd mean a defeat - i cant see that happening. A draw maybe.

I take your point re the derby, but the gulf in class between united at home and city away is an absolute chasm. I cant see anything for City whatsoever sadly.

Ok ok. I don't think they will manage to win as many as 4 of those.

two draws or a defeat are very possible. It's not beyond the realms of possibility they lose their last two, or two from their last three, as they are tough games. So I can surely say it's possible they'll drop 6 out of their last 7.

Out of the next 4, Boro away is the biggie. Tricky place to go anyway. Boro always raise their game for the big 4. Plus they're fighting for their lives. AND it's dead in between the 2 CL games, so if Arsenal can get a positive result in the 1st leg at OT and the mancs need a result in the 2nd leg, they might feel the need to rest players at Boro.

I have some mild hope for Spurs too, they're capable of being good at the back, whilst simultaneously having a good amount of threat going forward. They need to get 7th and Harry's got form, when it comes to getting results at OT.

The City game, along with Pompey tonight, i'm pretty much writing off. Anything would be a bonus.

Quite a few more are at the moment, though by FT that could rapidly decrease!

No point in even thinking about winning the league when we're up against this corrupt lot. I am beyond angry.
