If we can still be top when Torres comes back (preferably actually fit and having put this hamstring ****e behind him for good), it will start to get very interesting.

Eh? Rage was saying it's worse to drop points when you can go top, like Chelsea did today.

Not sure how long we can keep riding our luck like this, but it goes to show that we can't be too hard on the team and manager when the other top 3 are messing up against the exact same teams we have lost points to.

It is not luck though, it is imo a case that the league is far stronger than it used to be.
It is not luck that prevented Utd beating Spurs
It is not luck that Arsenal have lost 5 times already
It is not luck that prevented Chelsea beating West Ham

It is not luck though, it is imo a case that the league is far stronger than it used to be.

It's just a figure of speech, but surely you must know what I mean? Any other season in the past when we get a result like that, we usually find the other top 3 teams gain points over us.

This season we have "got away with it" twice now. Our main rivals havn't capitalised. I think there has been a balance that some teams have got stronger but also that the other top 3 have weakened slightly through many different reasons.

I'm more than happy to be in the position we are now, but I can't help feel we have missed opportunities to be in a much BETTER position, but hey, I'll take what we have at the moment and hope Torres returns ASAFP!
