OK, so this is a bit of a record for me, more than one post in a week. Only got one thing to say:

Where are the Rafa Bashers Now?????????

Today we were awesomely better than the mancs - whose squad value must have been twice - three times ours. Riera looked great, and I didn't see very much hoof-ball, just lots of nice movement and one touch passing.

More of the same please Rafa...

There are some good, valid points in this thread but today really isn’t the day for discussing Rafa’s shortcomings.

They only make an appearance when they have negative stuff to say bout Rafa and the team. It's always the case with the and we all know who they are. Rafa got it spot on today. Lets hope he does the same next week against stoke. That win should make every player feel 10 foot tall.

We were superb today and it all of us want more of the same. It's amazing what a bit of width, players in their correct positions and a positive attitude can do. ;-)

I know Rafa Benitez must have really hurt some people on here today with his masterclass. Were undefeated, top of the league, Just pissed all over the Scum and left them broken and next week we will smash Stoke and extend our lead at the top. And thats without Gerrard and Torres

Im sure that i will thoroughly enjoy this season. The next few weeks will be fun as we shift through the gears and continue upping our level

Awesome result today and I'm well chuffed. I am a Liverpool fan and have said before that I'll take back what I said if we win the title and applaud Rafa. Don't know why people always like to have a pop

The key is what happens now. I have said many a time we have a squad capable of mounting a challenge. Its team selections and tactics that undermine that. Today was a good day. But lets see what happens in the next game

We had a winger playing on the wing, two strikers playing top and Yossi on the right. It's what the 'rafa bashers' as you like to call us have been saying all along. Play players in their proper position and go for wins. When Rafa did that we beat the Champions

Personally I'm over the moon...1) because of the result and 2) because I was right. If we go for teams and play players in their right position we'll challenge

Maybe if people read the posts of myself, Rashid and Rage, rather than just having a pop because it's posting, this forum might be a better place

A genuine winger, players in their position, full backs allowed to attack, and a mentality of "we want to win this game and not settle for a draw" - it's what the bashers have been going on about for ages. I am well chuffed with Rafa today because he went for it even without his two best players - it goes to show what can happen with the right positive mentality.

Riera has made such a difference to our play. I believe we will now see the REAL Rafa Banitez side come into its own. Rafa has tried to buy wide players in the past but missed out but now he has one and it makes such a huge difference to our play. We made united look **** today and that was without Torres and Gerrard. If you ask me it was all down to the wings today.
Now that we have width i think we will very hard to beat and wil also turn these draws into wins.

Agreed.I think we'd have seen the style of play before now had rafa been able to sign who he wanted.
