Now, I really really hate to be a wet blanket, especially on a day like this, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
It wouldn't be the first time we've played like Brazil then gone on to lose against the bottom dwellers.
Our top game isn't the issue. We've always been able to beat the best team on the day, we've just had a run of bad luck against the Mancs.
Our issue is consistency. Will we have the same team next week or a different formation with players switched about with no fluidity, confidence or effectiveness.
Don't get me wrong, I am in the pro Rafa camp, but we're not champions yet and it's only the early stages of a very long season.
Sorry for the killjoyness but seen this happen too many times, and I've slept on the resuklt and it's lost a little edge.
I'll be watching the match later but, should be buzzing again then

Personally I'm over the moon...1) because of the result and 2) because I was right. If we go for teams and play players in their right position we'll challenge
Maybe if people read the posts of myself, Rashid and Rage, rather than just having a pop because it's posting, this forum might be a better place

Brilliant performance today, width, tempo, passion, threat and a positive attitude. Do that on a regular basis, with players in the right positions, and we'll challenge for sure.
The difference between the 'rafa bashers' and the 'rcdnw' is that the rafa bashers tell it like it is and give credit for a performance like today and the rcndw lot give credit regardless.

What do you want? A badge? Even Whiskey face gave credit for our performance.Originally posted by Craig_H View Post

No real Liverpool fan could do anything but give credit for that performance so what you are saying is utterly pointless.

disagree. Rafa bashers write the guy off whilst the backers know that this is the direction of the team.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostBrilliant performance today, width, tempo, passion, threat and a positive attitude. We will rest players against weaker teams and we will play different formations. If he's told to prioritise the league then it will happen less. If the yanks require us to get to the cl latter stages, like last season, then there's more risk of a repeat of Reading. THEY have to let him focus on the league.
You dont see this. You say he's not the right man because of it. You're just too impatient. He's building the club up again the right way and as long ad he contuinues to be baced then well get there.
