Why should the club have this issue? I think it's more than fair that the footballers can afford their own security.

On one hand, yes, most definately true.
However it appears that our players are being specifically targetted. It wouldn't hurt for the club to sort out some security to stop it happenning before our reputation is further harmed.
Imagine, deep in contract negotiations:
"Oh, and you'll need to get some security if you come here, our players keep getting robbed!"

FFS for 40+ quid a month ADT will monitor your entire house and if someone doesn't enter the correct code in 1 minute the old bill are on their way. It can't be that difficult.

For an extra 20+ quid a month ADT will rig you out with video cameras so that if something does happen you have the ******s on tape.

I'm no millionaire, but I have this setup and I can hit the web and check out what's going on at home at anytime. I can even check on the parrots from my cell phone.

There is no excuse for this to happen. If you are going to spend millions on a house and not take care of security then well you'll pay for it in the long run.

It is kind of ironic though, how there seem to be a few out there making sure that the theiving scouser archetype lives on.

Now I have no idea the development that Keane lives at but any large, decent quality development have a 24 hour concierge, for ****s sake where I live has one. There is no chance someone could break in and walk out with a **** load of stuff.

You can pay a lot more through ADT for that service and a patrol car will be sent round to your house.

If you have 3 or more false alarms in a 4 week period they tend to get a bit pissed off and won't react again until the problem is sorted.

I'm talking about this from a retail point of view but the guy who installed it offered me the option for my house.

I think it is quite expensive.

Nothing to someone who earns that type of money though.
