Could it possibly be that Skyrtel and Carra are playing very very well right now and Agger has to actually win his place back?

Maybe he is finding it difficult to find his form after a whole year out when he did not even kick a ball.

Rafa really likes and rates Agger very highly, therefore I can only believe that he is being left out for the above reasons.

TBH I would find it hard to leave out Skyrtel the way he has started this season. And Carra, well he is the leader at the back and is vital in teh way that back 4 operates so it will be very difficult for Agger to get back in.

I do not doubt his quality and in the longer term see him and Skyrtel as centre backs.

I though about Carra at RB as well, but I have to take my hat off to Arbeloa who also fully deserves his place right now. What an unsung hero. He was superb on Saturday and is looking the part as an attacking outlet as well. He put in some great crosses on Saturday.

Dont be ridiculous, that's far too sensible.

Agger is one of the best central defenders in the country and there is no chance of him leaving. He has been out for a season and needs to work his way back into the first team. Carra doesn't have alot more years left in him as a starting player so Agger and Skrtyl will be our choice in the future.

Another great article made from one sentence, I have no doubt he is in Rafas plans or he would have picked Hyppia in the European squad. I would say they want to make sure he is injury free before offering a new contract.

Wont play much in the next 2 years. After that he'll play an intrigral part.

Skrtel & Carra have been excellent so far this season. Realistically the only way he is going to get back into his favoured central defence position is if one of them gets injured.

I would be gutted if he left also. Thought he was outstanding in his first full season. Scored a couple of priceless goals too.
Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful

There were a lot of rumours doing the rounds regarding Aggers social life. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes.

That aside I don't think his injury has helped things, Skrtel seems to be doing well and Carra will probably play past Maldini's years.

With Hyppia on his last few legs, it would be a shame to lose Agger.
Then again it sounds like his agent is speaking here.

I know, but I would be surprised if he started the game. Although if he did start I would have every faith in him having a good game.
