    Chelsea build-up

It’s 1st against 2nd! Top of the table clash! The only two remaining unbeaten teams – something has to give! It’s Super Sunday, Thuper Thunday, a Gwaynd Thlaym encounter at the Bwidge!!!!!!!

Seriously though it’s a big ‘un. Our record there is pants but I have a curious fancy for us. I also have a sneaky suspicion Nando will play.

IMO a draw would be fine. My team would be:

    Reina

    Arbeloa
    Carra
    Agger
Aurelio (if fit, Dossena if not)

    Mascherano
    Alonso

    Kuyt
    Gerrard
    Riera

    Torres (Keane if ruled out)

    You?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I fancy us to get a result. Im a bit disapointed though that Carvalho has made a surprisingly quick recovery. He was supposed to be out till November.

Just makes the job harder now. But we can do it, Torres is training and trying to get fit for it so thats a good sign

And i would probably agree with your team

Yeah I can see Torres playing a part, thinking a dull game though, both sides maybe afraid to lose!! Good stuff if Dogbert & Essien are still out!

Hope it's a cracker and fumpy lamplard bangs an o.g!!

Lets beat these ****ing rent boys!

Very bad vines about this game tbh. Chelsea have been playing really well, scoring for fun, while we have been shipping goals. Granted we've scored a lot but not against a back four like theirs. I think we'll come away empty handed. A draw would be a very good result.

Unfortunately I don't share your opptomism about Torres being fit shaggy. Hope your right of course but...

I'd go along with your chosen starting x1 if keane is ok but if he's struggling then I'd bring in Pennant and move dirk up front

Agree on Nando shags..and I fancy us too.

If it was me though, I'd play Kuyt and Keane up top with Gerrard on the right, but this won't happen. Key thing for me is obv the midfield, but keep it on the deck - Terry and Carvalho will beat us in the air all day. If we win the midfield battle, which I expect us to, we can play expansive and create a bit more space for Gerrard in the middle than we have in the past

We looked shattered in that 2nd half last night, surely the pressure cant be starting to show already?

I'll admit im nervous about this one, I always am against Chelsea. This is the first season where I have actually began to believe we can put in a title challenge, every game starts to feel huge, every cack team starts to feel like Barcelona the day before the match.

I will be bricking it Sunday morning but I do have a sneaky feeling we might pull off another fantastic result. Their unbeaten home record has got to be broken sometime!

I have a sneaky feeling we are going to win this one. I genuinely do.

Kuyt, Gerrard, Alonso should be pretty fresh after last nights game.

Really fancy Riera to do some damage and force Bosingwa on the back foot - similarly Kuyt will prvent too many forward forrays by Cole or Bridge.

A win on Sunday and we really can start believing this could be our year. No doubt Chelsea are the team to beat but I just feel we are going to do them.

Who is fit for selection in midfield for Chelsea, anyone know? Kalou, Lampard and Belletti? What about Ballack/Deco ? Mascher vs Deco would be awesome to see, I'd rather not though

If Torres isn't fit, I want Babel to play up front.

And I prefer Dossena over Aurelio in this game, because the latter suffers badly when under pressure.

Joe Cole could be fit to face Liverpool on Sunday.
Coley has been missing from the Chelsea starting line-up and England for several weeks now.
But speaking just before kick-off at last night's Champions League match against Roma, Cole revealed he could be ready to don the blue shirt of Chelsea very soon.
"It's just one of those injuries," said Cole.
"But I could be back in two days or it could be six - we will just have to wait and see."
If Joe is available in two days, it's possible he could just sneak his way back into the side for Liverpool's visit to the Bridge on Sunday lunchtime.
The way is open for him as Florent Malouda produced another of his frustrating ineffective performaces against the Italians on Wednesday night - prompting Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari to ditch the French winger at half-time.
Cole would be seen as a natural replacement.
If Cole does not feature on Sunday, then he will almost certainly be in line for a call-up in the away Premier League gainst against Hull City on Wednesday.

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

The chavs are easily the team to beat this season. Their squad is awesome and they are playing good football. But if anyone can, Rafa can. This is what he does the bigger the team, the more underdogs we are the bigger the result. Come on you Red Men

****ing massive game - chelsea are looking so strong - but they might be nervous too - we need to be fired up and really get at the *******s early and upset, don't let them settle - we need to be strong, physically and mentally - massive game.....biggest of the season yet...... have u noticed when ur at the top every game we have played this season, is the biggest game yet - anyway we need Steven Gerrard firing on all cylinders we need mascherano hassling and uspsetting their midfield, we need 100% concentration at the back, and we need some magic and some ****ing luck!

I too have a feeling torres might, just might be available - we can't afford lightweights like benayoun playing

                              Reina

                              Arbeloa
                              Agger
                              Carra
                              Pref Aurelio but prob dossena

                              mascher
                              alonso

                              Kuyt
                              Gerrard
                              Reina

no up front?? i'm unsure - it will be one of keane/babel/torres depending on who is fittest, with the other two on the bench,
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
