I too have a feeling torres might, just might be available - we can't afford lightweights like benayoun playing

    Reina

    Arbeloa
    Agger
    Carra
    Pref Aurelio but prob dossena

    mascher
    alonso

    Kuyt
    Gerrard
    Reina

no up front?? i'm unsure - it will be one of keane/babel/torres depending on who is fittest, with the other two on the bench,
Yeah! Reina back as an outfield player

mate - it's the only way - add a bit of width down the left

I'll admit im nervous about this one, I always am against Chelsea. This is the first season where I have actually began to believe we can put in a title challenge, every game starts to feel huge, every cack team starts to feel like Barcelona the day before the match.

I will be bricking it Sunday morning but I do have a sneaky feeling we might pull off another fantastic result. Their unbeaten home record has got to be broken sometime!
I think the pitch played a part last night - it was wank!! it was such a slow and heavy pitch that can it's toll over 90mins. The players have thurs, fri, sat before the game - if there legs are tired on sunday then there is issues, for ****s sake they are atheletes they will be fine by sunday.

Right now, a win, well **** me we would be in a strong position, i'd settle for a draw, and a loss - although i'd be gutted WON'T end our title challenge.
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I hope you're right. I just hope its only physical fatigue and not mental

Anyway I think I am suffering from mental fatigue this season, we are only 8 games in and Im a bag of nerves, lol. Its the genuine anticipation that this MIGHT be our year, it's bloody killing me!

In principle I agree, but he was the one who laid on the pass for Nando in last year's CL semi.

Tried something a little different and it worked out....

Not sure what to think about this one, though I'd be happy with a draw.

Draw would be a great result.

I fancy both teams to cancel each other out. Draw would be a good result. Clean sheet would be even better.

We'll win, no basis for that thought except blind hope.
Also, Rafa has turned his record around against Man U and Arsenal in recent seasons, we got our 1st goals at Stamford Bridge in years last year, were desperately unlucky against them in both league games so the logical conclussion is that this year we'll nick a win to be the 1st team to win there since the 2nd World War

Could have sworn we won at stamford bridge more recent than that!
Dalglish's winner for the title in 86?
                  Paddy Berger's Debut in 96?
                  Since...?
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Does anyone know if a referee has been appointed for the match yet?

Not sure, but I heard somewhere that Rob Styles might be the 4th official

Seriously though it’s a big ‘un. Our record there is pants but I have a curious fancy for us. I also have a sneaky suspicion Nando will play.

IMO a draw would be fine. My team would be:

                          Reina

                          Arbeloa
                          Carra
                          Agger
Aurelio (if fit, Dossena if not)

                          Mascherano
                          Alonso

                          Kuyt
                          Gerrard
                          Riera

                          Torres (Keane if ruled out)

                          You?
Yep - I'd go for exactly the same team. I'm not optimistic about Aurelio and Torres being fit though. I've got a feeling we might do it too. This is the season for breaking jinxes. We've already had our first win against the Mancs under Rafa, our first win against a Steve Bruce team under Rafa, now lets get our first league win at Stamford Bridge under Rafa!

I'd be delighted with a draw.

I do think we're gonna get beat though.

You always think we are going to get beat Marky and you are always wrong!

Whats up lately, why so negative with the predictions?
