        It's odd because I don't think he'll ever be good enough to be a first team regular, but if I'm not mistaken Plessis captained the team in the Carling Cup game against Crewe earlier this season even though Agger, Hyypia, Pennant and other more established players were on the pitch. Maybe Rafa has something in mind.

            Are you sure? I read somewhere Plessis was the captain and lfc.tv has him listed as the captain for that game,
