To be fair he should have stopped the pass to Pavlyuchenko for the last goal.
That is his job and he did not do it. Then again the attackers did not do their job either

Give him a break. We were chasing the game and we were over exposed. He was running back, it's not like he was trying to mark Bent (not the ex-everton ****).

He had to charge in, do that in those conditions and there is always the chance you will not be able to control your motion. You know the rest.

Chelsea look great at the moment but they haven't really had a decent test yet (except against us )

Haven't been tested???? They've played us and Manu and absolutely hammered teams that we've stumbled to wins against. They only reason that they haven't been "tested" is because they are so superior that they've made these games look easy.

Take Middlesborough, Sunderland and Portsmouth for example. Games that we found very tough, (the Portsmouth game we were very fortunate), but Chelsea won those 5-0, 5-0 and 4-0.

Either Chelsea or Man Utd WILL win the Premiership. We don't have the depth to cope and we don't play with the attacking flair required to win games at a canter and thats where we will fall short.

We're a better tean again this year, but I still think that there will be too large a gap between us and the top of the table come January, even though we may still be second or third at that stage.

Chelsea will win the Premiership this season by between 10 and 12 points.

So, first defeat in the Prem this season, it's away, and a good case to say was undeserved.

So still playing ok, should have put the game to bed, learn from it, move on with the Title Challenge.

Agreed. I missed the first half but the opening 15/20 minutes in the second half were great.

I'm hoping we're on 40 points by the start of next year. Thats 4 wins and 2 draws, mostly at home. If we manage that then we are seriuos contenders for the league.

Thats a decent aim. But with the games left, hopefully this will give them players a bit of a kick and they'll go on another good run. We have one "tricky" game between now and new year....Arsenal.

Keane looks nowhere near a £20m striker. To go 10 plus prem games without scoring is ****e. No other way to put it. With Torres out he should have stepped up to the plate, but he hasn't

Keane will come good, he is a ****ing great footballer. I'm willing to bet he finishes the season on 20+ goals.

I thought it was a mixed bag, we had more than enough chances to kill the game off, but we let them back into it. If you compare our performance to Arsenals against them in mid week I think it shows we have more about us than the gunners, defensively they looked very poor.

Although he didn't do much I thought it was good to see Babel in a central role when he came on, I think he'll be an amazing player for us in 2 years time.

So to conclude, we've had a good run, but maybe this is a good thing, it will burst that bubble of expectation (and pressure) thats been building up over the past few weeks.

4 games ago I thought we need 22-24 points from the next 10 games, we have 9 from 4 games still on target. We were bound to slip up its what we do after it that, that is teh test of character.

Absolutely gutted!!

But it was on the cards I could see them getting back into it when we kept hitting the woodwork. We do this time and time again, when we go in front and fail to kill the game off we get punished.

In fairness we have got points from games we shouldn't have when we played badly and won, but in a way it makes it all the more frustrating in games like today's. In previous seasons if we had been without a player like Torres for a few games we would have dropped more points than we have this year, so that shows the team strength, we just need to get up dust ourselves down and make sure we win our next games
