Gerrard out injured for seven to 10 days

Steven Gerrard has been ruled out of England's friendly with Germany in Berlin on Wednesday after suffering an injury during yesterday's 2-0 win over Bolton Wanderers.
Liverpool FC spokesman Ian Cotton said: "Steven picked up an injury in yesterday's game at Bolton.

"A scan this morning has confirmed a tear in the adductor magnus muscle in his right leg, and he is expected to be out between seven to 10 days."

You can bet the mancs will be accusing us of cheating, even though they have done it with rooney and rio.

              Hurrah!

We can rest him for Fulham - Xabi and Masher in the middle with Keane off Torres. Lovely stuff. Have that, you England *******s.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Excellent. With Terry and Ferdinand out, Stevie was going to be made captain and would of had to play 90 minutes for Engurland. Fantastic move Rafa

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. Could do with a little rest. Perhaps Lucas can play as a forward midfielder? He seems to be a bit more adventurous.

                              Excellent news.

Shat myself when I entered the forum though, it was the thread with the last post on the forum and it read: "Gerrard out injured for seven..."

I was ready to pack it in.
