        I think the question should have been "Who has been our best wide player this year".

        Only really Riera and Pennant would be classed as proper wingers and there hasnt been any contest there this season.

            i would class ronaldo as an attacking midfielder with a free role

                      riera gets the vote....bar pennant, he's the only winger in the side. bennayoun is a right sided attacker, kyut is a right sided attacker / striker and babel ditto on the left.

                        I think DWW summed it up perfectly when he sais that both Kuyt and Riera give us the balance (of width on the left and goals from the right)
