he's only just bought 2 full backs. if it meant selling them in january then fine. i do not think we could possibly buy any worse fullbacks than the 2 we bought in the summer.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostNot even £6m on a full back?
we really shouldn't have given him a new deal just yet.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

i am officially out of the rcdnw brigade - his substitutions and team selection were wrong on saturday.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostRafa's in a strong position because of his relationship with the fans.
But any more calamatous decision making like yesterday, and that relationship will gradually deteriorate.
end of story.
very very pissed off"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

Because he's a fantastic manager absolutely made to manage Liverpool. The progress he's made has been fantastic, it's enormously impressive how he's brought the squad upto scratch and made us a big big name in the Champions League and now we're top of the Premier League too. A no brainer really.Originally posted by rage View Posti would have waited till the end of the season. see no reason why we've extended his contract now.
He's going to be here for years and years and we're going to win lot's of trophies. You'll see.

i think anyone is a mentalist to be in a rcndnw brigade, but i support Rafa 100%, doesnt stop me being baffled by substitions and tactics though.Originally posted by bobbyfallon View Posti am officially out of the rcdnw brigade - his substitutions and team selection were wrong on saturday.

Just like Wenger, Ferguson and Maureen at chelsea will have there critics while bringing success. When watching the tottenham/Scum gate thought they should have brought on nani and anderson instead of scholes/giggs and inject some pace.
We are all armchair managers and we can dissect the game afterwards, some decisons are a work of genius, some fail miserably .

other teams around are ****ing up too i can see that. doesnt mean we have too aswell???
all i am saying is if we had picked up the points in the games we drew at home we would be a few points clear. we need a headstart if you like because we dont have as good a squad as manure or chelski"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. IIRC we get around the same number of points in each half of the season but most teams get less in the second half (including Chelsea and United).Originally posted by PC Plod View PostI thought stats had revealed that this was only very slightly the case...?"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
