I think the point is that he isn't adding anything. I'm in complete agreement with Operation.
Not saying the guy is sunday league but he is the most basic piece of the jigsaw as he does nothing exceptionally well and since Rafa has raised the bar on the quality of the squad I do not believe he is good enough especially in this dramatic run in.

Ok, still don't buy the observation that the criticism is increasing.
I think the thing is that their is a genuine argument now whereas before nearly everyone (myself and a couple of others excepted) thought he was rubbish. I guess it depends on what you mean by increasing in terms of detailed critiques it certainly is, I suspect that in terms of numbers feeling he is inadequate and posting as such it is decreasing (see the pauline conversion of Craig).
