Couple of big ones in here, but it's a good chance to consolidate and possibly extend our lead.

    10th Jan - Stoke (a)
    19th Jan - Everton (h)
    27th Jan - Wigan (a)
    1st Feb - Chelsea (h)
    7th Feb - Portsmouth (a)
    21st Feb - Man City (h)

With our away form, we should be looking to go to those 3 and win. The derby's the derby and we're far better than Everton, big game (what with us playing on the monday night after the others will have already played) which we can be winning. Obviously Chelsea at home will be huge, if we can win the next three, that Chelsea game could be the biggest of the season. Between now and then, Chelsea have Stoke and Boro at home, either side of a trip to Man Utd. If we do our job in January, we'll go into the Chelsea game with the chance to open up at least a 6 point gap, if not more.

That lot will take us upto 26 games played and if we're still in possession of a nice lead at the top, everyone will be taking us seriously as title contenders.

Half the season still to go, but in some ways, when you break it down, we're close to being close, if you get my meaning

No offence intended but I hate these next how many games threads .. our task is simple we need to win every game home and away regardless of who it is and there is no easy fixtures .. as soon as you start saying we should pick up 3 points here or there and then we will have so many things go pear shaped faster than you can say dont count your chickens before they are hatched.

It worked for the "Top Of The League" and "Our Next 10 Games" before xmas threads.

      So here's my guess ;-)

Should win the away games as other teams have to come out and play and we are devastating when they do that. Stoke are also without Fuller, arguably their most dangerous player. For the other away games Torres should hopefully be match ready too.

Home games are a bit edgy, can see us dropping points in 2 of them. Now that Drogba's back we might even lose that one - we are his b*tches after all. I'd settle for any 4 wins out of that lot.

We should be looking at a minimum of 14 points out of that lot IMO, although that sort of goes out of the window when you look at the last similar thread - we dropped points galore - relatively speaking - and have somehow extended our lead.
should have thought of that 9 months ago
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

To be honest we are in exactly the same position we were in pre-season.

Win all our remaining fixtures we will win the league.

Does Rafa really call this progress?

          This rotation madness must stop!

Wheres the width coming from? etc etc etc.

i actually think that the chelsea home game will be our chance to tell them to go **** themselves as i reckon that they will either draw or lose at old trafford...... if they lost, then we could beat them and go 9 points clear of those cunts........that'd be bye bye big chavs in my eyes......

i suppose in one sense a draw between chelsea and manU would be ****in great for us......

i just hope we dont **** it up against stoke, wigan or one of those.....

I refer yee to the '1 game at a time' mantra.

There will be many twists and turns to come, it's all about how we react to any setback.

                          18 points from those games

Even if the manks win their 3 games in hand we're still above them by a point!

                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I just don't see the point of trying to warm the outside, why not just put a jumper on!
