But they're better than their current poor play. So why wouldnt the law of averages say that they'll simply start playing better and continuing to win?

I'm going to stick my neck out and suggest that if we can go on an 20-game win streak (and we've already got 2) then we will win the league. We could even afford to draw against United and still win it.
As for the 1-match at a time proponents - that's really for the players. They have to keep their focus. Fans can look at the bigger picture and dream. I'm already looking at the summer transfers to ensure we retain the title - that's always the hard part.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

It's no.19 after 19 years.... and after that curse has expired...
It's our year. That's why Chelsea and Man U keep dropping points when we do. It'll go to the wire, but that's point. It's our most exciting title yet.
        Really?

I must say I am clinging to a number of quirks/omens such as the one above. The most pleasing one would be to win it once they had got to within one of our record 18, the very year they could've equalled it. That would be soooooo satisfying.

Another slightly less pertinent one is my son will be born in 2009. We won the league the year I was born too. And the European Cup.

Good thing I have already got my bets on for both. It's a Monty after that tid bit and no doubt EST members will be rushing to the bookies everywhere.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24
