If or when United are top next Saturday, how will you feel then, knowing that they're top because we ****ed up against WHU, Fulham, Hull and Stoke twice?

You said you were disappointed, but you're happy that we're top.

Maybe when we're no longer top, you'll start to see why myself and others are so ****ed off by dropping such ****ty points to crap teams.

What is the point of being pissed off about what has not happened yet and may not happen at all?

You wont be pissed off when it does happen, either.

I'm pissed off because it's now a realistic possibilty. If we'd won those games we should win easily, there'd be no remote possibility of United going top.

We're just different types of people.

I'll just carry on supporting the team and hoping we do well. At this moment in time we are doing well - we've gained seven points in our last three games and scored eight goals! Not bad eh?!

Seriously head in the clouds stuff mate.

I'll carry on supporting the team, same as i always do.

But to me, it matters. I cant just say 'oh well' and forget it.

If you can, all power to you. I cant.

I stopped worrying about things I have no influence over a long time ago. It's great to be top of the league and I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

That epitomises how far we've fallen, and how much of a loser's mentality we now have.

For the mancs and chelsea, winning the title is the minimum they expect.

We're just 'delighted' to be involved in January.

Makes me sick to be honest.

Do you have kids, out of interest? A parent has no influence over what happens to their kids when they go out - but most still worry about them.

Chelsea and Manchester United can't both win the league. I am delighted to be involved in January, and hopefully we'll still be top by the end of the season. Chelsea and Manchester United would swap places with us right now.

I dont think United would swap with us, not with the respective fixtures each of us still has to play.

I know United and Chelsea cant both win it, but those who dont, will consider it a failure. Chelsea sacked their manager because he finished 2nd and runners up in the CL. They sacked a manager who'd won back to back league titles. That's the standards we're talking about. Not this pathetic "i'm delighted that we stayed in it til January" stuff. It's loser's talk.

If we fell away next month, people would be happy to have lasted until february. I wouldnt.

This is our best chance of winning it, and we're ****ing it up.

I wont be happy that we were involved up until Jan or Feb, if we dont go on and win it because this season has presented us with a golden opportunity.

If we wont win it, it'll be because we ****ed up, rather than because United or Chelsea were too good.

If we don't win it - it'll be because we weren't good enough to win it. You can't argue that we were better than the teams we didn't beat, because we didn't beat them. If we were good enough in those games to win then we would have won. It's quite simple really.

No, it doesn't. It shows how people who have more experience in life than you have different perspectives and priorities.

Do you really think we haven't been there?

Why don't you allow people to think differently to you? For someone who is so insistent about their own opinion, you're pretty judgemental about other people's.

As Ian said earlier, you could do with lightening up.
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

If we dont win it, it'll be because we failed to beat **** teams, who we're plainly good enough to beat.

You're arguing that we're not good enough to beat the likes of Stoke and Hull, and i think that's bull**** personally. Each to their own view.

We're good enough to win the title, whether we do it or not will be down to whether we keep ****ing up or not..

People can think what they like Neil, how do i 'not allow' people to think differently?

I dont control what people think, everyone's entitled to think as they wish, myself included.

Where have i said people arent allowed to think differently?

I dont think i have at all. I think you just like stalking me around the forums.

I would have accepted 7 points before the 3 games began.

Newcastle and Bolton both looked tricky beforehand.

By stating anyone who isn't gutted has a "loser's mentality." It's rude. And wrong.
