Yup, awful purchase and clearly not a top team player. He'll do good floundering around the middle with spurs.

It was def a dig at Rafa.

He fluffed about 3 sitters today and then finally got on the scoresheet thanks to a penalty. Then after the match he said he's pleased because the players are responding to the manager in training and that it's good to have a manager that you understand.

****in tit. He's been a massive dissapointment. Its sickening to have to look back and wonder what could have been if we had spent the £20m elsewhere, or if he could have applied himself better. Keane and Babel have both had similar situations this season and its been our downfall. We should have had enough to get those 2 or 3 extra results

I watched him on MOTD last night and he looked appalling and I really do believe now that he is an amazingly average player, the amount of sitters he misses, aimless runs, poor passing. Ok every so often he'll score a bliner or make a great pass, but can not do it on a regualr basis. Am glad we got rid of him as he pulled us down a huge level.
