    The pen that wasn't given

Got me thinking had that exact same incident happened at Old Toilet & Rooney was the man brought down I reckon that not only would it have been a pen (regardless of who the ref was), but Jagielka would have walked for a tackle from behind in the box.
Also the pen those pieces of Dog turd got at home to Bolton that wasn't a pen.
The way Rooney ridicules refs for 90 mins every time he steps onto the pitch.
The way refs are surrounded by Manure players if a decision goes against them.
    Same rules 4 everyone heh?
That team really grates my balls & I hate 2 say it, but I would rather the Blue****e won the league than those pricks from Old Toilet!
    Jesus I hate them!!!
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

I thought the same but really there's no way of knowing. I think refs are less biased than we are.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I'm not sure if it would've been given for Man Utd.

As for rooney, he's a vile ******. But Torres went ape**** at the lino last night and didnt get booked. Not saying he does it as much as rooney, cos he doesnt, nowhere near in fact.

But what he did last night, he should have been booked for. When Rooney does it, i'm furious that he gets away with it.

It was a clear cut penalty. Watched it over and over today. Tackled from behind, took the man and got none of the ball. Webb had a great view of it. Shocking decision really from a ref that IMO is the best in the prem.
        Dare we believe

This topic would have not been discussed had we won yesterday. If only Torres took his chance or we defended better from a set piece......

exactly. was a defo pen but didn't get it. forget bout it. every team gets bad decisions now and again.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Not bothered by this as we should have enough about us to not only score the goals required but not have to depend on pens. The performances have pissed me off as the players have give it large in the press about the title but done **** all on the pitch.

Thought we played well up until the 75th minute. That pen would have made it 2-0 and game over.

Doesn't matter, the second goal would have still got in.

Not a certainty. We should have defended better or Benitez should have got his subs better.

I agree that Rafa shouldn't have put Lucas on, instead he should have played Babel.

Disagree. When Lucas came on we were being pegged back by Everton, and needed an extra man in midfield, not a player like Babel who rarely tracks back. The screw up was moving Kuyt up front and leaving Benny and Carra to cope with Piennar and Baines...Benny ain't got the same tenacity as Kuyt when it comes to tackling back, and it's no surprise he conceded the free kick that led to the Everton goal.
