As for Nunez being forced on Rafa, that's just RCDNW being taken to the extreme. You actually think Rafa had 'no choice' but to take Nunez? Yeh, right.

So if we win it, should fergie and scolari be sacked, based upon the fact they have strong enough squads and failed?

I would suggest that you're quite simple, rather than your theory.

If Rafa gets to within a few points of the title he should stay. I think he's a very good manager but he doesn't seem to be learning from his mistakes, which the game against Wigan showed. He's been rightly taken apart by the media and fans as a result. I hope he puts it right. But with regards to your post, it's Scolari's first season in charge and Ferguson has **** all to prove. What's your point?

Again, i'll remind you that Fergie was a whisker away from the sack 7, yes 7, years into his reign.

Your opinion that Rafa isn't learning from his mistakes isn't backed up by fact unfortunately. We're having our best season in many years.

What's your point? What's the point of any of this negativity? At least to the extreme it seems to be reaching at the moment.

            It's absurd.

Some of you are saying "we'll see at the end of the season", and in the same paragraph writing him off.

            Hypocritical, Sky Sports style "support".

As for you agreeing that he's being rightly taken apart by the fans and the media.................

It's not that cut and dry though..

Fergie had a stronger squad to start with which makes a massive difference. More saleable and valuable players (which would surely reduce the net spend more). Fergie has been building from the top - 10/15/20/30m players. Rafa has built from the bottom AND had to invest money into the youth system to rebuild it. It's always been a long-term plan for us and we're now seeing the results of it - from now.

And as for on the pitch, I think the players need to take a certain amount of responsibility

His mistakes were highlighted during the Wigan game. Same old ****e. I read the press and listen to the radio. He's been taking **** from all directions, so sorry you burst your little optimism bubble, but he's getting a hell of a lot of stick. And after that game and the rant etc, so he should too.

Now, rather than the childish little use of smileys, let's stick to the point shall we? How on earth can you compare Scolari in his first season and Fergie who has dominated the Prem for years to Rafa? What on earth was the point in comparing them? There wasn't one.

Sorry, you're right. We need to spend our time and energy slating our own manager for taking us to second and bringing in players like Torres and Alonso.

We need to back Parry for signing Keane all by himself, a snip at 20m.

We need to get behind H & G and encourage them during this difficult time.

We should be whingeing and moaning because we've drawn a few games and lost top spot. Second is unacceptable. Even if we do have nearly half a season to go.

My comparison to Fergie was based upon how well he did in his first 5 seasons. I think you'll find he didn't do nearly as well as Rafa. The comparison to Scolari was based upon the fact he is having a terrible first season by you and your likes high standards and it surprises me you don't feel he should be sacked and banished from football for a year.

I don't have an optimism bubble. I've been a Liverpool fan for over 33 years and have never heard the sort of ****e people like you are spouting at the moment.

Go to dictionary.com and have a look for "support". Read the definition. Let it soak in. Then go and look at the records of some of the most successful managers of all time. Look how difficult some of them found their first 5 years.

Then go and buy an Everton top. It'll suit you better. You can slag us off to your hearts content then.

                    HAHAHA.

                    You're hilarious! Keep going.

You said, "So if we win it, should fergie and scolari be sacked, based upon the fact they have strong enough squads and failed?". That has absolutely **** all to do with Fergie's first few seasons, it's to do with this season. How the hell is Scolari having a terrible first season? It's his first season in charge and is up there with us. It was a thick comment and you know it.

If Rafa does not get a new contract at the end of this season it's because he's had years in charge and plenty of cash to spend and the board feel that he hasn't delivered. If Scolari doesn't win it, it would be ****ing stupid to sack him as it's his first season. Hardly the same as Rafa is it? As for Fergie, he's won the Prem how many times? To sack him would be insane as he has proven himself in the Prem. Unlike Rafa. It was a retarded comment and you know it. Your lame attempt at wriggling out of it will only wash with a fool. Not with me.

As for the rest of your diatribe, please accept that as fans, we have a right to be objective and to criticise the board and the manager from time to time. Grow up. "Go and buy an Everton top." Playground antics.

Could he not have negotiated a different fee instead? Of course he could have. I'd rather that and lose a little but then invest it in a better player. Nunez was woeful.

Your entire post is an oxymoron. The personal insults are an indication of your intellect. Your use of the word objective to describe your behaviour is ridiculous.

Fergie was given 7 years to prove himself, Rafa's had 5 and is challenging. Fact.

Had we been in a negotiating positon Owen would still have been at Anfield. I should think that is very clear.
