Fair play to you. You've been highly critical of him recently but you've given him credit where it's due

Even before going down to 10, has anyone ever seen (under the Roman era) a Chelsea team so lacking in ambition? You'd have thought that they would have thought we may be there for the taking with recent results. Kudos to Rafa and the players for taking it to them. Buzzing

How come these ****s at Sky are saying Alonso going in for a challenge on his feet is as dangerous as Lampard sliding in?
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Gene Hackman is a great actor, but a very bad football manager.

I will always give Rafa credit when he gets it right and defend him when he gets it wrong from time to time. But sometimes you just cannot defend him and it winds you up no end but hey thats our Rafa LOL.

Great response from everyone, well played and thank you Mr Riley for the red card, no matter how useless he was!

If fat Franks was red, so was Gerrards
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

I think you answered your own question
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The ref didn't even see it.

That was funny. Should have been booked for that, coupled with the ****ing dive

That's only because we got the deserved result. If the God's had of conspired against us again, then everyone would have jumped on the Andy Gray bandwagon again criticising Rafa for not taking Mascherano off earlier, even though we were dominating the game.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                              Was not a red card.

We were the best team all game, but we have been in 95% of our games all season and not won them. We'll never know what would have happened had Lampard stayed on.

Delighted to win mind. It was a must win and we did. Role on Pompey away.
                              Forwards.......

He can't not get banned for that though, at least 5 games in my opinion.
nah, he was right by the incident. I actually thought he did start flagging for the foul bet then changed his mind... my imagination maybe!
