    1. Not just based on last night, but what we see on a regular basis.

    2. **** you too. I asked a question if you don't like it piss off.
Seriously, bollocks to you. "Not fit to wear the shirt"? Take a good long look at yourself.

Worthy of the shirt means ,to me, that the player gives there all and does nothing to bring our beloved club into disrepute.

As compared to not really good enough for our team.

      Big difference IMO.

That seems a fair assessment to me.

          Totally and utterly agree.

              Apologies for symantics error.
The poll is based upon the idea that they are good enough?

God knows I know that they give their all (Kuyt runs a marathon every match).
But my point is, is their all (in your opinion) good enough?

I love Kuyt to bits for what he does give the team. However I would like someone more gifted in an attacking sense to play in that position, or at least have the option of playing in that position. Kuyt has a lot to offer the squad, but not necessarily as a starter week in week out.

BTW - Anyone can 'give their all' regardless of profession. It is a gimme...a freebie...something we are all capable of. Something I expect.

Car crash of a thread, like so many others, sadly

                      Worthy of the shirt??
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

Another example of how poll questions can be misinterpreted.

                        That's all.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Worthy of the shirt, to me, means being good enough to warrant being picked to put on the shirt and play in our first team, no other sentimental guff. On that basis:

                          No
                          Yes
                          Yes
                          No
                          Yes
                          Yes

I vote no for the last one.

Does the loser get evicted from the big brother house?

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                                Mine angry and defrauded young?
