Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

BTW - Anyone can 'give their all' but not all do regardless of profession. It is a gimme...a freebie...something we are all capable of but people seldom do . Something I expect.

despair away. I wouldn't have him anywhere near the team. Effort or no effort, he offers so very little in an attacking sense. Yes he defends but Rush did this and scored goals.

Kuyt has had a good run but he's the main reason I despair in Rafa. This is my opinion only. It may not be correct or what the majority feel but I haven't watched a game in the past 3 seasons where he hasn't annoyed the **** out of me. Even when he scores he's annoying.

As compared to not really good enough for our team.

                          Big difference IMO.
so on that basis gerrard not worthy of the shirt then?

Should have been 'Talented enough to wear the shirt'.

I feel a player can be worthy, but not necessarily talented enough, he could be willing to die for this club but just isn't quite up to the standard required.

Ok, read a few posts on whether a player is worthy of wearing the shirt, but now see the actual poll question is 'Good enough' to wear it, unless it's been altered, ah well never mind.

For me, the only player on that list good enough to wear the shirt is Aurelio.

Rieira and Benni are good players but would never make my starting line up if we had more cash.

There's a point, the players posters consider good enough to wear our shirt, would they consider those players good enough to wear say...the Barca shirt, are we talking good enough as we stand as a club now, or good enough for LFC no matter what, even if we had Citeh type cash?

Or have i just complicated things unnecessarily.
