He might still be but things didn't work with the management of Liverpool.

If he said he is giving it to his brother because he's a Liverpool fan sugguests he isnt, wouldnt blame him really. Imagine if he handed United the title.

I think the title will be wrapped up before then. Not to us though.

Rafa has made comments along the lines of "people who think it was wrong to sell him have only seen him in games whereas we have also seen him in training." That makes me think that he has been missing sitters in training as well i.e. that he hasn't just been unlucky, he just wasn't a good enough finisher.

Shame really as he seems like a decent enough bloke, and he is a good player. Just not quite good enough for us.

Remember the 1986 season when we won the Double. Neverton were the team to beat and we came from behind to take the league title. Never doubt Liverpool Football Club mate.

Whatever. Keane's gone now. Move on.

                          *takes a bow*

That's not the question though. The question is: Why didn't I bet on him scoring?

For a minute there I thought Keane was still playing for us

But then I realised it was Babel in front of goal.

Something must of rubbed off in training.

Watched a significant portion of the Spurs-Arse game. Keane was woeful and missed an absolute sitter in the secind half from a Lennon cross. Lennon was superb - very direct, beating players and putting good balls into the box. That is all.

I watched a fair chunk of the tottenham arsenal game as well and thought that keane wasn't up to much, started thinking about it all and reckon that he's appreciated at spurs cos he runs around and gets into positions and shoots but we want a bit more, like discipline and getting shots on target, i.e. he gets shots in but we want shots on target which he didn't seem capable of, as for discipline, he wanted to run around all day and we saw that Rafa didn't like that when he stopped Gerrard doing it

on another note, I remember one game, think it was Bolton on boxing day and he didn't get the bounce that he wanted just inside their half and instead of chasing he put his head in his hands and missed the opportunity to be first to the ball instead of getting on with it, now for all the stick that Kuyt gets, I can't remember ever seeing him stop playing till the whistle goes
