Is right. some people (not the guy you were responding to) are totally clueless. I love the club and if it were mine I would have suspending building just when the yanks did - whether I could get the funding or not. To put it another way - Would you mortgage your future now for a house if you knew that it would halve in cost within two years? Of course not, not unless money was no object. A lot of fans seem to think that because its Liverpool that money isn't a consideration, that all it comes down to is promises and trust. The real world is somewhat different for sure.
I also dispair at the people who expect a rich 'fan' to turn, up buy the club, build a new stadium, and fund loads of transfers.
Going back to the mortgage analogy, it would be like somebody turning up and buying you a house, then paying for a new kitchen, bathroom and furniture, for no return on their investment. If it were to happen, would you not be ambarassed at not being able to pay your own way, relying on hand-outs? Nobody would do it, so why expect it with a football club?
A lot of people are just not living in the real world.

I guess that concludes us to believe that Abramovich likes playing with dolls' houses!
