Could it not just be that Carra said something along the lines of "i'll play there if you want, but i don't think i'll be able to bomb up and down the wings cos i'd be knackered after 20 mins, so it would probably be a better idea to try someone else" ? If it went anything like that, i don't see it as a problem.

If however, Carra said "get ****ed, i ain't playing right back, too tired to run" then he'd have been dropped, plain and simple.

If Arbeloa is unfit for Madrid, i reckon we'll see Carra back at RB, with Sami and Skrtel in the middle.

To be fair to Jamie Carra, he is getting on a bit and if he felt his legs couldn't handle playing at right-back then he was doing the right thing as he probably thought he would let the team down in that position. The lad has barely had a rest all season
