Human being in make mistakes shocker? Similar to Cech against Blackburn allowing Bellamy to score? Cech against Fulham allowing McBride to score? Cach against Boro allowing Rochemback to score?

Your agenda against him is ridiculous, obsessive and mental. You go on asif he isnt allowed to make a mistake. He's human, he makes mistakes, he's had a dodgy start to the season like Wayne Rooney, Thierry Henry and 10s of other top players so get over it.

He will make his way back into my top 5 if he regains his form of last season.

Our top five most important are

          1) Gerrard - Worlds best
          2) Sissoko - He allows others to play and is a one man wrecking machine
          3) Kujt - Not to early to put on 5 most important as think he is vital in the way he plays for us
          4) Finnan - If he is injured who are we going to play there
5)Reina - I dont want Dudek back in the nets, and he enables us to play further forward

No centre backs are in because we have 3 good ones and we could cope without any one of them
Thought about putting alonso in, but without him Stevie comes into the middle and pennant/garcia can go on the right

In other words you know you're looking a tit (As usual) and have no answer to it?

I know, I know, you can shove all the clean sheet stats in my face you want, but then look at Paul Robinson for England, he's made to look 10 times better than he actually is, It certainly doesn't tell the whole story.

Anyway, his start this season has been little short of woeful, let's hope he sorts out his form. Sharpish.
He has made mistakes but pepe's contribution is a lotmore than just stopping goals. I think he is one the best in the premiership at starting attacks and distribution

He doesnt have any agenda against Reina, it was a bit of a silly suggestion...and i'm only being honest.

It's not an agenda, he just shows a serious lack of appreciation for a few players.

                    That's possibly true at times.

The idea of some preconceived agenda is ludicrous, mind.

                      Fair shout Ross.

It was the 'mental, obsessive agenda' comment which I took issue with.

This is a tough one, much harder to pick 5 players than perhaps 3 or 10 of our most important players.

Gerrard, Sissoko and Carra stand out for me at present.

Alonso, Kuyt, Riise, Agger, Finnan, Garcia and Crouch are also big players for us this moment in time.

If pushed on two players from the second tier, I'll have to plump for Alonso and Kuyt. Garcia was very close though.

I don't know if it's preconceived as such, but he is horribly biased against a few players and acknowledges nothing good about them.

                          He is mini-Brendan these days.

                            We all have our moments.

                            Look at you and Crouch

If all were fit and on top form and we were about to play the CL final. These guys would be the first 5 on my team sheet.

                                Five most important players are:-

                                1) Gerrard - obvious really, best player in the league. Talisman and can change a game in a heart beat.

                                2) Sissoko - causes the opposition midfield to make numerous mistakes, as he covers that much ground and puts in that many tackles. Provides a huge amount of energy in the centre, and we have no-one that can replicate his game - not even Gerrard!

                                3) Reina - Ok he's been poor this season - but this, as Shaggy said, just goes to show what we are missing. Last year he enabled the defence to play higher up the pitch, as he acted like a sweeper, he also gave tremendous confidence to the back-line (something which has been lost so far this year) and is an excellent shop-stopper to boot. We need him back to his best.

                                4) Riise - Bit of a shock this one, to be honest. Under Rafa he has been a different player, and he doesn't have the same hoof-tendencies as what he once had, he's also worked hard at his defensive game and was key in last years mean defence (this again highlights some of this seasons problems - with his injuries we've looked very weak on the left of defence.) Riise also gives a genuine attacking option from deep left - if he gets space and has the room to cut into the centre ground then the opposition better look out, as a Riise-enabled Rocket is more than likely being fired at goal - this goal threat helps the left midfield out enormously, as the opposition right side have to pay attention to where Riise is on the field, something which Aurelio doesn't give (yet?!)

                                5) Carragher - It's probably fair to say that Carragher isn't having a great season so far - however he is still our best never-say-die defender, and the heartbeat of the defense. Either way you look at it, Agger is being groomed as Sami's eventual replacement, not Carraghers.

I've not picked Alonso, Crouch, Finnan, Hyypia, Garcia, Zenden ()and Kuyt for various reasons - however, I can see an argument for each to be included. In the end I've gone for "what we miss if they aren't playing/performing"
