Also for some reason I think Lucas would thrive in the Arsenal team. His style would suit their one touch short passing. But he's ours so they can sod off.

Fingers crossed he develops with us coz he has the makings of being a top footballer and I'd be gutted if it wasn't with us.
If he was scouse very few would be questioning him IMO. He has a lot of talent that just needs refining and time. That is why both Rafa and Gerrard are telling us to be patient.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Judging by a couple of recent threads, i'm not alone in having the odd doubt about Lucas.

To be fair, his recent performances have been good and if they became the norm, he'd be a very useful option to have as a backup.

I dont even know how to take that comment, seriously or not.

He's improved to a level which IMO, if produced consistently, would justify his place in our squad. It's a very decisive 'if' though.

Lucas has it all ahead of him but IMO he will make it in the long run. No offense meant with my comment, the comment and the was designed to lighten the mood.

your comment on Lucas that i quoted was a very fair and reasonable one.

No offence was taken, just mild confusion.

Craig is still at it 4 pages into this thread. That's the nature of the man!

Lucas is at a very good club to learn his trade as he has Gerrard, Alonso & Mascherano to learn from also with support from the technical staff on a daily basis...He is gonna be a monster of a player when it all clicks in! At the moment, each game I have seen him, he's gradually improving...He is learning from mistakes as the best way to improve to learn from your mistakes if you know what you did. We all need to make mistakes if it is to the detriment of others in order to improve if you are honest enough to know that you've boobed big time! Others would berate you & check to see if you have improved before gaining your trust again...lately the players & the technical staff are coming out in support of Lucas must mean they must have seen some improvement in the player.
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!
