I was a bit too into my games at 16.... besides, clearly if I hadn't won 4-0 against Milan we would never have come back .

EDIT: Oh and it was only because I was playing it at half time, I just thought "another game won't hurt."

I went to the toilet when we scored in Athens as well. So basically I've never seen us actually score in the European Cup final yet. This year will have to do!

I went outside and played football in the back garden during extra time in a final once. It was the '66 World Cup Final and I was bored.

Then again I was only five.

Yeah but at half time of a tense match, i doubt my hands would be steady enough to switch the console on at the first time of trying, let alone play it properly

Because those 3 have been banned for stuff in the past and aren't seen as the 'nice' forum members like someone like Operation is, I'm sure the mods would've left it up had it been one of them. Maybe I'm wrong and maybe the mod who edited it could put me right.

I'd also given up at half-time. I remember saying to a stranger that I'd take 4-0 ....I was dreading 5, 6 or 7. Humiliation. I mean seriously....there can only have been a handful of people who genuinely thought we'd come back!

i went into the pub bout two hours before kick off for an all day job for the final (my partner in crime was at it so i had to get the sing song going). was completely twisted by half time to be honest. so decided to head over to supermacs for a taco chip a burger and a large coke - nearly took the doors of the hinges on the way out of the pub with a stagger

i vaguely remember the barman sayin to one of me mates - there is a better chance of fallon coming back than liverpool.
