If you review the Treble DVD you'll see that while Ziege was no Left Back (and bloody hell the reason for his resurrection at the Boro was cos Robson played him in Central Midfield) he did contribute a large number of assists with his sweet left boot. Excellent technically, poor defensively, could have done well in the Rafa version of the team at Left Midfield.

He did rack up a lot of assists that season.

My abiding memory of Ziege in a Liverpool shirt is that horrible 3-4 game against Leeds where he scored with a flick of his badger coloured mane to put us 2-0 up before a horrendous mistake let in Viduka to score the first of his two goals.
