I think you are correct in saying he IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH for what we ultimately want and what we expect
but some people are mistaking that for you saying he's ****e.

In which case you may as well slag Rafa off for signing a Man City reject.

He doesn't, really. If I had Playercam to demonstrate I would show but the amount of time he spends more in the inside left channel rather than running on the chalk pisses over the theory that he offers balance. Balance is nothing if you don't do anything productive with the ball. Without his flicks, Riera is the Spanish Stewart Downing.

I've been disappointed that he hasn't been able to push on in the second half of the season, but that's expected with the level of pace in the prem (yes I know he's been here before - irrelevant).

He is easily our most skilful player, the last thing we need to do is ship those types of players. He completely changed our shape (for the good) in the first half of the season.
        One tit for another.

And if he never cut in you'd complain about that two, he is supposed to mix it up.

He's a Spanish Kewell. The acid test is where he would end up if we decided to offload him. Chelsea - no, Real - no, Barca - no . None of our peers would touch him. BTW you can add Kuyt to the list aswell. Not good enough.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

What is going on with all the negativity here today? Didnt we win 3-0 and play well?

He is better than babel. In fact he is the best we have at LM

He has had some very good games for us and at most only a couple of bad games. He is a very good squad player

I think he is a good squad player. Not a world class winger, but in the league just below.

For a first season for us, he has done well, and hopefully he can build on it for next season.

I would be happy to keep him.

                            Talent wise Babel is better.

It is a shame that Babel isn't being given m ore opportunity to prove his talent!

There are some truly **** posts on this thread, starting with the first three.
                                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
