    Very sad news that Sami will be leaving but totally understandable that such a great professional wants to play football at a high level regularly for as long as possible.

    I wish him all the very best and cannot thank him enough for the great memories he leaves. The CL goal v Juve stands out for me personally but I am sure there are so many more great moments.

    A genuine legend and arguably pound for pound the best signing this club has ever made.

        just been mentioned on Sky Sports News that he was offered the chance to be a coach with us, but wanted to carry on playing. I'm sure that offer will still be there when he finishes playing and that the doors to Anfield are always open to him
