Sorry that doesn't fit with you anti-Lucas rants.

aa4f... 90% of you posts over the last couple of months have been anti-Lucas related. It would be appreciated if you could try and change the record somewhat and contribute something other than slating a particular player. You have no idea as to either of the player's attitudes in regards to training etc and thus deserving to be given a chance.
And as Mattshark's post shows, Babel has played more games than Lucas anyway. And whilst a large chunk of these are from the bench, he has often been poor when starting games.
You obviously don't rate Lucas - that's up to you and it's pretty obvious nothing will change your opinion on him, but others have been able to give him credit when it is due even if they didn't rate him previously. It would just be nice to see something constructive posted for a change rather than a one line put down of the guy.

Nah, can't agree with that. Maybe naive at times, but he has already shown him tell to be a good player.

im only having a laugh. id love to see the young lad do well for us. i wouldnt like to see him sold on this summer anyways. he is lacking in confidence and having the fans on his back wouldnt have helped. get behind him and give him a cance i recon

great attitude but i cant help but feel i would prefer to see Spearing ahead of lucas next year with one eye on european quotas.

Havent seen a lot of Spearing but seen enough of Lucas to feel he wouldnt be too sorely missed.

But I would say that if Barry came in I would want him to take the place of Lucas otherwise we would have no space for youngsters such as Jay coming through.

Nah mate, Brazilian U20 and U23 captain and international and Spearing has not played for England U21's at all. Lucas has at present far more quality and a lot more pedigree.

dont disagree that he probably maybe better....but have you seen enough of spearing to make that assumption?

all my point is, i dont mind lucas....but i am not sure he would be missed if he went!!

Thought he was very weak again today, gets pushed off the ball to easy for a lad his size. Needs to get in the gym for the summer. Eat some snickers, Get some Nuts! type of thing.
