Not trying to put a dampener on things but we also have t omake sure that we attain at least the same levels next season - it is perfectly possible for us to go backwards.
    Really?

We've got a top 3 finish sealed which means we won't have a champions league qualifier next season, I wonder if that will make any difference to our preperations for next season
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If only we were better at home....

        Good away record though.

It does money making wise. We've got tour of Thailand planned.

Our transfers are in a surplus, since we bought Skrtel. Lets see how much Rafa is given in this window.

This is the daft mistake so many people make - i'm neither positive nor negative, i just comment on things as they are. If things are good, i'll say so, if they're ****, i'll say so too.

The fact that people 'like me' when i post positive stuff but abuse me when i post negative stuff, is sad.

It's all reflective of what actually happens.

Add to this the fact there is real belief growing in all the players that they are capable of winning the league, you can see it in their demeanor on the pitch.

They are becoming winners, which is something I dont think we have been able to say for a long long time.

It's vital we get off to a strong start again next season.

I was pleased to hear Rafa's reply when he was asked if 2nd would be considered a success - he said "1st is better"

Much better mentality to have, a winning one. None of this ****e small-time "oh well, 2nd/3rd is still good". We've settled for things too much in recent times.

The only way we'll win titles is when we have a mentality that tells us winning is all that matters. 2nd is nowhere.

I really hope we take this into next season now.

Remember Rafa's first season, when we were ****e away from home?

Only 5 wins, 3 draws and 11 ****ing defeats.

This year, 12 wins, 4 draws and only 2 defeats (the only 2 in the league all season) and one of them was a freak defeat, where we battered Spurs and yet somehow contrived to lose.

How's that for a turn around? Shows just how much we've improved in that time. Great stuff.

And on another point, one more win will seal 2nd place too, which again is a nice improvement on previous years, when we've been fighting to the end just to secure CL football.

I also read that if we remain unbeaten, we'll be the first team to only lose two games and not win the league. Can't remember if that is since football started (1992/1993) or since football really started.
But still, definitely moving the right direction
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

When was the last time the team with the best GD and fewest losses didn't win the league?

It would've been when a team without the best GD had more points than them

Chelsea have been shocking at home compared to their previous seasons.

We havent been bad at Anfield only lost to Chelsea in CL?

Just too many draws but Anfield is a difficult place to come to.

That many draws at Anfield equates to us being not very good at home.
